The Elm Street dam may go the way of\u00a0its upstream relative, the dam at Triphammer Falls just off Wapping Road,\u00a0which was removed in 2011<\/a>. \u00a0The question of dam removal is a complex one, made doubly so in Kingston and other New England\u00a0towns by the age\u00a0of many of the dams.<\/p>\n
