He owned land along what later became Kingston&#8217;s shoreline, including as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plymouthdeeds.org\/sites\/plymouthcr\/files\/u60\/grays_beach_park_new.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this notable land record<\/a>,\u00a0 the site of\u00a0 Kingston&#8217;s little beach.<\/p>\n<p>And we know it&#8217;s Gray&#8217;s with an A, because, yes, it&#8217;s carved in stone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10990 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kingstonpubliclibrary.org\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/cem-12-1072-jrvhs-1024x996.jpg\" alt=\"Gravestone of Edward Gray in Plymouth cemetery\" width=\"604\" height=\"587\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is Old Burial Hill in Plymouth, and Gray&#8217;s is one of the oldest marked stones there.
